Nutritional information for proper digestion
One of the most common health problems that plague people today is that of indigestion. Some of the symptoms of a digestive system that lacks sufficient hydrochloric acid and enzymes are bad breath, heartburn, belching, and flatulence. There is delayed emptying time of the stomach, constipation, and diarrhea. Many people do not recognize the relationship between anemia and obesity, but the fact that one has a poor digestive system can definitely result in an anemic condition as well as being overweight.
If we don't completely digest certain fats and proteins they can be stored as body fat. There are some conditions which can bring on digestive problem, and at times they may be only temporary, based on the condition which precedes the digestive problem. One of these conditions, stress, is very common and can occur on a daily basis. Prolonged illness, pregnancy, and the overuse of anti-acids can also result in poor digestion.
When an individual is under a great deal of stress it is always best to avoid a heavy meal, for this is the time when the digestive system slows dwon due to body trying to support the metabolic demands brought on by the stress. Most individuals will feel better by eating a light meal and supplementing the meal with digestive enzymes.
There are enzymes that are responsible for digesting proteins, carbohydrates, and fats. Some enzymes function best in the stomach while others work in the small intestines. All mammals need both kinds. A complete digestive aid needs to contain substances which will digest all types of food and their components. To insure that a digestive aid is complete it should contain the following combination, and in the amounts suggested. This formula will provide a high potency blend of six different enzymes plus pancreatic tissue, ox bile extract and niacinamide. Because of the special nature of this nutritional problem two special formulas will be disussed in this report, a super potent formula and much milder one.
This super potency formula suggested contains the following:
One of the primary causes of an over acid stomach is the lack of HCL, which when missing or supplied in insufficient amounts to adequately digest the foods ingested, allows the food to ferment thus causing acids of fermentaiton which are many times more damaging to the stomach. These acids of fermentation can cause ulcers and gallbladder attacks. Taking anti-acid tablets or liquids only tends to neutralize the harmful acids and causes an acid rebound condition, since an the stomach becomes too alkaline more acid is secreted.
